Bill Guiher

Bill has been a ballroom dance instructor since 1984. In 1987 he became the franchisee of the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Amherst.

Throughout his career, Bill has received numerous Arthur Murray awards including Top Teacher, Counselor, Supervisor and Studio Director.  He was also the recipient of the much coveted Outstanding Community Service Award from Arthur Murray International in the year 1999 and has received many other service awards, including a 2006 Community Service Award.

Bill is well known throughout Western New York due to his appearances on local television programs, as well as his community performances and group teaching sessions to raise money for charity.

In addition to teaching ballroom and social dancing, Bill is a talented choreographer having choreographed the dance numbers for the movie “Manna from Heaven”, which was filmed here in Buffalo.
