Suneel’s Celebrity Gala

We would like to wish Good Luck to the Arthur Murray teams competing in the Suneel’s Celebrity Gala: Donna Fernades and Myron Yook; Joel Giambra and Darlene Pena.

Suneel’s Celebrity Gala is a dinner and dance gala to benefit Suneel’s Light Foundation – a non-profit charitable organization established to fund critical research for treatments and a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a terminal disease which targets young boys. Currently there are more than 20,000 children in the United States suffering from this devastating disease, and more than 100,000 worldwide, with a statistically higher number of cases in Western New York than the national average.

Suneel’s Celebrity Gala gives Western New Yorkers an opportunity to attend an elegant ballroom dance gala, support their local celebrities as they learn how to ballroom dance, and raise awareness and funds for finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It is being held on February 1, 2013 at Statler City.
